Did your parents do anything special after CF Checkups?

You won't believe this, but after clinic, my mom, sister (CF) & I would go out to lunch with <i>at least </i>one other family from the clinic and parents sat at one end and talked & we CF kids sat at the other end and talked & ate (& ate & ate...).

Those are precious memories that I will always cherish--I just wish this kind of interaction was still something that could happen today...

We always hit the vending machine on the way out of the doctor, which is in the hospital basment and then we also hit mcdonalds on the way home since it is a 2 hour trip one way.
