that is a great idea. they always ned to eat!! We sometimes went shopping because the city the hospital was in had way better stores, so we made it a fun trip also, or just toured the gift shops at the hospital

If we didn't need to be back home early we would stop by one of the malls. If my visits involved multiple needles I could get a couple new outfits out of the HORRIBLE ORDEAL.

My Mom used to take me out to lunch whether it be McDonald's or something else. It was normally whatever she could afford with being a single parent and raising 4 kids.

Even now, with going to clinic, I normally stop and get my self something to eat (unless my appointment is later in the day).
