A little background on me: I am 26, FEV1 has been around 50% for a little over a year, I just started cycling tobi for a month on month off in February, I have been on IVs once. I have had a rough year health-wise (CF and nonCF related stuff) and I have decided that I can't work full time anymore. I am going to clinic on the 21st and will have my doc write a note for my work to cut me back to 32 hours a week, that should help for a while without totally screwing me financially.
What I need to know is: does anyone know of a good website where I can get more info on disability (I live in Washington if that makes a difference)?
I was told that if I am on Tobi for 6 months then I should qualify, is this true?
Can I qualify for even partial disability if my doc says that working full time is not recommended?
Will they look at what my income was last year?
How many hours a week can I still work or how much money can I make and still qualify for partial disability?
I will take partial disability if thats all I can get, but ideally I would like to not have to work at all. With my situation is this even feasable?
Thanks in advance guys!!
