I just cpied and pasted my responce, from the other thread. Hope this helps.

Hi there, has any ever thought of using MILTON its the stuff that smells like chlorine and its used in hospitals and homes for sterilising baby bottles, teets etc.

Juts a thought!

Or even using the microwave steem steriliser for baby bottles, they only take about 2-4 mins max. I would think they should be suitable.

Any thoughts............anyone

Eli, I use Milton for non boilable nebs, Kj's flutter and her spacer. I boil water then put it into a container, let it cool down then I put the milton in and soak items for 15 minutes. I then rinse the items in boiled water and then I air dry them.

For the pari boilable parts I use a microwave container filled with water, I nuke them for 15mins and then air dry them.

I would love to buy the germ guardian but I don't have a credit card and also not sure if they post to Australia. I'm sick of having nebs lying all over my kitchen bench air drying <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

I wash mine with (regular, not antibacterial) dish detergent (I have a big white plastic mixing bowl I use, so I don't have to worry about how "clean" the sink is <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ) and then boil them in a big pot on the stove. I also put a lid on them. They boil faster and, if I forget to set the timer, it buys me a few extra minutes before all the water boils out.

I dump them in a big collander (that I use only for them), shake the cup part out while holding the handle and hang them by the handle around the top of the pot, and rattle/shake the rest around in the collander for a few seconds, and dump them back in the pot.

Then I put them on a COLD eye on the stove, and turn on the stove hood fan. If I have forgotten to wash them, and need them fairly quickly, I do all that, wait 15 to 20 mins, and then take the hairdryer and finish drying them. Then I use the "cool shot" on the hairdryer to cool them off. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">
