Hello

I don't have much experience in this area, but I think that if you can provide evidence that you have been the sole care giver for this child and have a better understanding of the care required then I would think the judge would rule in your favor. Just try to have all of your ducks in a row interms of the number of times you have taken her to the doctor, who does most of the treatments, who do the doctors know more (you or your ex)
I don't know but best of luck to you and hang in there.

are you talking about trying to get enough finicial support from your ex so that you can stay home? If so, that might be tough. Unless he's extremely well off, one salary trying to support two households, well, that's a tall order.

I don't blame you for trying though. And I would imagine it varies from state to state. Also, this isn't a CF only issue. You may want to check with your social worker (assuming you have one at your CF clinic) and try to talk to other special needs kids parents.

Are you asking about support or custody? Your question is too vague. Please elaborate on what your situation is, because without a good understanding of what you are dealing with, no one can give you appropriate advice.
