Does anyone know the answer to this question

I just talked with Foundation Care pharmacy and they said they are one of the few pharmicies that will be carrying the Aztreonom when it comes out. They also said it will be administered and come with its own E-FLow nebulizer from Pari. So my question is does anyone know if I can use the PARI e-flow for my other drugs like albuterol, pulmozyme and HTS? I do have this question hopefully being answered by my doc too but thought I would put it out there. I already know I CAN NOT use the E-flow/ TRIO for TOBI but wanted to see if this e-flow that is being dispensed with the new Aztreo drugs can be used with our other nebulized drugs minus the TOBI. I was also told that the TRIO that is used currently for all the above drugs plus Colistin and minus TOBI CAN NOT be used with Aztreonom and that is why that drug will be dispensed with Pari's version of e-flow.

Thanks

albuterol yes

HTS yes but I think I have heard it shortens the life of one of the parts

pulmozyme I cant remember

from my understanding you'd need to have alot of different 'cups' or clean and dry in between though.

I know several people on the site use eflows, I don't know exactly what can be used in it though. I've heard both yes and no with the HTS. Everyone I've talked to that has one loves it. At least for the time my clinic is fairly opposed to them and isn't convienced (don't know why)
Hopefully one of the members that uses an eflow will post soon.

Two things:

PARI is the only manufacturer of the eFlow. So when you say "Pari's version of the eFLow" it makes me think maybe you're not aware of this.
