Does lack of protein cause bruising?

you said you noticed it when he was in the hospital, if he was getting heprin (since it's a blood thinner) it would cause bruises to happen easily. I had increase bruising, especially when they drew blood, and they said it was because of the heprin. Now that I am off of the IVs it has gotten a lot better. I do take 5mg of Vit K daily. You might want to have his vit levels check to make sure his Vit K level is where it needs to be.

Just and update on the bruising. austins clinic called back and the doc was unsure to why he is bruising so easily and we are going in to get some blood work done to check levels out. Hopefully it's just him being a boy and nothing else.
