With my boys they do their albuterol either when they are doing their albuterol or right after and then my oldest does his Pulmozyene. I know the doctors say to do the albuterol and let that get into their lungs and then do CPT or Vest to help beat it out. I think it is different for each doctor that you talk to.

I was under the impression that CPT had to be done BEFORE pulmozyme; especially when CPT is the vest. The shaking of the vest can make the pulmozyme ineffective which is why you do it afterwards. I used to do it during... for years and then heard I was doing it wrong. This is the order we use it (who knows if it's right or wrong): albuterol before vest (inhaler 2 puffs); Saline with the vest; pulmozyme afterwards (usually at night, but sometimes during the morning treatment). The 2 times we used TOBI was the very last thing we did (never at the same time as vest).
