Does your child do CPT before or after Neb?

I just called our cf nurse after reading your post because we are on pulmozyne too. We've always done it before cpt. I asked if it should be done before or after cpt and guess what...she said after. I wish someone had told us this before...even in her hospital stays they have always done xopenex, pulmozyne, and then cpt. We've been doing it wrong since day one <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> Thank you for posting otherwise we would still be doing the cpt last. Thank God for this forum. Geez...why don't they tell us these things????

You will come to find out that each center does it maybe a little different than the next. We have gone from puffs of albuterol, vest, HS wait four hours then do pulmozyme to puff, vest, pulm and HS back to back.

We've changed a couple of times, too. I've noticed that things change in the CF community very quickly and what was the "right" thing to do last year has now flipped. So many of the treatments we do are relatively new in the scope of things that better ways are discovered all the time. Have you ever noticed that after your docs get back from the annual CF conference <i>somethings </i>different?
