Yeah, it's not like Brandi was saying she wants to go out and drink herself stupid. You just assumed that. If someone said they were wanting to drink all their problems away, then it's all right to say something, but you were kind of killing a lighthearted thread. Of course I don't condone drinking, especially with CF, but sometimes it just happens, like an aunt offering you tequilla under the table, or some guy next to you on the airplane who's so drunk, he thinks you're his best friend and gives you a bunch of gin and vodka (my case) And yes, that was my first time drinking, and I hadn't had that much to eat... And even if I had, that amount of gin and vodka should have plastered me, but all i got was a slight buzz and even that went away after I had a pee. Many cfers have similar stories. Whether it's a interaction with a common medication or something about the CF gene, there does seem to be a correlation. And kylie, I still don't see any scientific proof that there isn't a correlation. if you give some, then of course I will believe you, though. =-)
