I am not sure why a humidifier is a no no (if someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it) but I live in Arizona and my doc suggested a humidifier and an air cleaner be kept in my bedroom. Naturally they are both kept very clean to ensure proper function.</end quote></div>
My doctor told me humidifiers were bad because of the water. Some people let the water get "stale". Therefore it can harvest bacteria. Personally I think if someone cleans it daily and keeps the water changed then they should be fine. I dont use them because I dont have a need for one...yet.
