eFlow and Tobra

My doctor said you can use Pulmozyme in the eFlow, but you should only use like 1/2 the vial. But he said because Pulmozyme is safe, you could do the entire vial without a problem too. But I found that it works faster in the Sidestream than in the eFlow anyways. I only use Pulmozyme in my eFlow when I'm on vacation and I don't want to lug my big nebulizer machine with me.

Sounds to me like your doctor is not up on the eflow research. This is not a difficult decision once they know the research that is out there. I took tobra in the eflow for a while but stopped becasue I do not tolerate the drug very well via nebuiliser. Sakasuka had posted the eflow studies on her blog a while back, maybe you can find them there and get them to your doctor.

I use eflow and get my Tob from Foundation Care. It's in 150 ml vials which I believe is half of a regular Tobi dose. It says Tobi on it but my understanding is that it is Tobra. I don't know if there is any other changes in the formula.
