Not sure if most don't DON'T recommend using Pulmozyme in the eFLow? Well over 1,000 prescriptions have been written for the eFlow in the US (that doesn't include eFlow use in clinical trials with aztreonam).... that's 1/3 of all CF patients in the US for those who are counting!
Yep, that's why I didn't say most. I said "many." <img src=""> But you're right, some docs (and a growing number) are okay with it.
Also, my doc won't let me use DNase in the eflow, but she still wrote me a script for one so I could use it with TOBI. This is in addition to the one I use for the AzLi. So some of those 1000 prescriptions are probably NOT for pulmo. Big distinction.
But Piper is right, they'll let you on the plane with the little plastic cup with the "head" in alcohol.</end quote></div>
Yep. This is what I always do and I have yet to have an issue with it.
I'm editing this to say that I CANNOT for the life of me figure out this quote thing on here. So sorry guys, you're just gonna have to bear with me I guess.
