I'm pretty sure that an embolization wouldn't reduce lung function. Embolization is just blocking a blood vessel, not an airway. Maybe you're out of breath just because of the procedure? I hope this is just a temporary thing.

I had a similiar feeling after my bronch. I would think the invasion causes a bit of trauma/inflammation. Once that is gone you should feel better.

If it continues for any length of time, contact the doctor.

I have had three embolizations and with the first one I didn't notice anything different. But with the last two it took me about a month to feel "normal" again breathing wise. My pft's were down slightly at first but are now back to my normal fev percentages. I would tire easily and had weird chest pains, difficulty swallowing too.
