I asked my reproductive endocrinologist yesterday of what happens after I get up after the IUI. I must have sounded so uneducated when I asked "so.. will the sperm just fall out??" He told me no that after 10 minutes, the only thing I would leak was the carrier fluid. The sperm "know" to swim northward. Sheesh! What is your uterus filled with... air? fluid?

This is exactly what my RE told me. But they still gave me packing cuz it made the patients "feel" better about the leakage! It was a sponge wrapped in a trash bag type stuff. And you had to keep it in like an our after the IUI. Lovely!!
