Emergency!!!

Oh no! I'm not from the states so I'm unsure how these things work but I would definitely be pushing to pay for a few days supply! The last thing you want is bowel ccmplications, even a few days can cause bigger probs. As others have said if you can't a low/no fat diet is A MUST. I also use bromelain which is a natural enzyme available at chemists... It comes from the core of pineapples so I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be a problem giving it to a LO, it won't substitute creon but it would be far better than nothing<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> sorry you have to deal with this.

What state are you in maybe someone has extra's they can help you out , when you get a new RX ask the doc to write it for more then you need so you have a stock pile so this never happens

Friend of mine's daughter had a similar issue. Problems with insurance covering the newly formulated creon. THEN none of the pharmacies in the metro area + radius of about 70 miles had them, so she was rationing and waiting for a them to be shipped from the warehouse in the City. This was all over the weekend. I suggested asking for a substitute brand and even offered some of DS' even though it was a different brand.
