DS has never had one either, though his doctor has been having him practice blowing for later this year.

Hope it goes really well! My daughter was pretty good at fighting sedation too!

Paula, not all clinics have infant pft machines. My daughter started blowing regular pft's at 2.5 years old and has done really well with them. I personally think it is worth a try to get them doing pft's as early as possible in hopes to establish a baseline. Not all doctors agree with that though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Emma had her first Infant PFT at 5 months old. This was her second one (she is now 10 months old. Her next one will be in about 6 months.

She did really well this time. I know it was because she was not starving like last time. Her numbers were better too. She had good numbers last time... even better this time.

We were there from 9-2. The boy getting it done before Emma had trouble falling asleep so we ended up going in very late. Oh well... we won't have to do it again for 6 months. YAY!
