The enzymes that I take are pancreatic enzymes. Metagenics only sells to chiropractors but recently I have found them on luckyvitamin.com

You can do a search on all these enzymes. The CF enzymes work for many patients. I have had some troubles over the years so I looked into take the health food brands.

The enzymes that I take are strong and sometimes if I take too many I can tell the difference. In the past years, I took pancrease and ultrase and pancrecarb. They all worked but had some troubles on and off. It is since the transplant that I needed to change. The drugs can be difficult on the stomach. Thankfully, I found a great combination.

I did well on Pancreatin (company called Kal) and Metagenics by taking them just individually with meals. I never took these brands together. It was either one or the other.

It was only after my transplant that I started to look into adding a vegetable enzyme. The vegetable enzyme that I take is

You can look up the Metagenics if you like. The enzyme is Called Azeo Pangen. here is a link

These are two powerful enzymes when combined together. I would not take them with any other enzymes even if you find another natural enzyme.

Anyone who wants to try these both together, I would try one with a meal and then see if you need anymore.

When I first took the Azeo, I only needed a half of an extra strength pill. After this transplant, I found I gained weight when adding more pills to the meal by increasing the dossages.

Hi Terri

I take transplant medications. Are you referring to the prescribed enzymes? I do not take any for over a year and half and probably will never take them again.

Since i am off the prescription enyzmes, I no longer have these tiny beads under my skin around my abdomen. Maybe there was an interaction with my enzymes and my medications? I have no clue.

I have been taking Azeo Pangen from Metagenics for five years. I did well with them most of the time. It is only over a year ago that I discovered the vegetable enzymes and decided to add them together. When I added them together, my weight struggles were over. I gained and kept on gaining.

I would not try these together at first. Talk to a doctor. Do not listen to me. I am just a patient and I am offering just my experiences.

I hope they keep on working for me and if they do not, there are many other alternatives out there.

What is great about these enzymes for patients in the ICU is that they are not beads in a capsule. One is a powder in a capsule and the other one is a big tablet that can be broken and crushed and will disolve in apple sauce or in yogurt and you cannot taste them. I am not saying to give these to children. I am not in position to recommend.

Thanks Risa, I would never consider taking her off her Ultrases, but thought that maybe a half-dose of the Rainbow might be advantageous to her. Do you take an antacid like Previcid or something like that? The doctor thought that her acid was eating the enzymes before they could work. Thanks.

Why would you want to give her the rainbow light if the ultrase is working? If you decide to try it, I would only give her one for the day to see how she does. A child is so much different than an adult. Be careful

Some people have send me a PM and telling me they are going to try the Rainbow light.

I cannot personally take just the Rainbow lights. I need a porcine enyzme source as well. I am taking Metagenics Azeo Pangeon along with Rainbow lights All strength.

I do not know how the Rainbow lights will work with your CF enzymes. There could be problems.

The enzymes that I mentioned are NOT prescription.

I think you should discuss this with your doctor if you are having problems and want to switch.

we all are different.

When I started with Metagenics a few years ago, I needed only half of an one regular strength enyzme. Now I am taking a double strength version of this one brand and I save money. You can always cut the pill in half with your fingers.
I have been on this combination for over a year now and I am not Changing. IT WORKS FOR ME.

It also is keeping my Antirejection drugs working well. I am very steady with my labs.
