Evaluating when to go to the CF center (a novel)

She sounded better tonight, but I made an appointment with the clinic for 9:30 in the morning. The 2nd nurse that I spoke with seemed relieved that Dave will be bringing her in the morning.

I'll stop worrying and will be less stressed. A happy mama makes a happy family. I could tell that everyone was stressed out because of my worry vibe.

I'm going to have Dave discuss with the doctor about what to do in these sort of situations in the future. I'll post what he suggests.

Thanks again for everyone's insights. It means so much!!!

I'm so glad you called. A couple years ago DS developed a cough that sounded like bronchitis to me, but I knew if I'd take him to the local clinic, being that he didn't have a fever, they'd just tell me it was normal or a virus. Had quite a few sleepless nights second guessing myself, worrying... Finally we took him to the CF clinic in the City and the doctor put him on Cipro, by the end of the weekend his cough had cleared up and we was back to being himself.

We did work things out with his doctor that in the future we should just call his office and they'd decide what to do -- either call in a script, decide if they wanted to see him...
