Has anyone ever set up an event to raise money for CF? I am into Jeeps and 4 wheeling. I have an old (1984) Jeep CJ which I brought back from the dead with a new motor and body, and did all the work myself since I bought it for $300 in 2002 (more work to come this year, different motor!). I am a member of a couple jeep clubs, and one of the members in our club is part owner of the offroad park we 'wheel in. I was going to try to set up a wheelin trip where where it would raise monet for CF research. I can work out the logistics of with the owner of the park. I was thinking of contacting the CFF about it. I was just going to stop in because they have an office down the street from my work, pretty convenient.

If anyone is wants to look at my jeep site its <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://mysite.verizon.net/kvarady.">http://mysite.verizon.net/kvarady.</a> theres also pics of my kids to check out too.

Any suggestions on this undertaking?
Kevin

I tried to look at your link but for some reason it took forever and I had to click out of it.
Does the link really work, or it is just my computer causing a problem (my computer has had MAJOR problems recently).
Thanks,
Kelli

I am on a "CF Committee" for our area. You should have no problem getting help from your local CFF. There should be a committee in your area if the CFF is so close. Ours is made up of local people affected & non-affected by CF. Yours may be the same. Just depends on how active the group is to how much help you can get. The 1st time is usually trial & error. You'll get the hang of it. Your first step is contacting the CFF, then figuring out how big you want it to be, looking for "free" advertisement in local "community calenders. Ask you employer if they want to be a sponsor. Email is a handy thing, email EVERYONE you know. You'll be suprised how it all falls together. GOOD LUCK!
