thanks for the info guys. i do already workout - i have done ardio about 5x a week for a couple of years now, normally for 30-45 mins. now i'm trying to scale it back to a level that's healthy for my body as my cf has progressed. i'm more or less accepting the fact that running probably isn't a good thing to do anymore - it seems like walking (like 3.5 mph) on the "hill walk" or "performance training" settings on the treadmill gets my HR to around 150 with a peak of 165, whereas running seems to be more at the 160 with a peak of 180 range, which i'm guessing is not good.
my o2 has been in the upper 80s, low 90s resting. when i wear my o2 it comes up to about 94, and then my HR goes down into the 60s-70s, which is where it used to be ust normally. i'm trying to wear the o2 when i'm at home and resting to give my body a break, and of course i wear it when i'm exercising. i was just trying to get a sense of whether anyone else has dealt with similar issues and how they've handled it.
i do like yoga, steph <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> i used to do it 3 times a week in addition to cardio, but when i started practicing law i just didn't have time anymore. now i just do cardio and strength training, but i miss the yoga too!
stay healthy guys.
