Even if you don't have any equipment, you can get very creative with exercising.

Sometimes when I am bored with my routines, I do TV exercising.

I pick a half hour show. While the show is on, I march in place, fast enough to get my heart rate up. When commercials are on I kick it into high gear. First commercial run in place, Second commercial do jumping jacks, third do some kickboxing, etc. You'll be glad to walk in place again when the commercials end. Also, the possibilities are endless.

I can tell you what i do when i am in the hospital and dont have access to my treadmill....
~I will do standing knee bends, you just stand and lift one knee as high as you can towards your chest any number of times you wish and then repeat with the other side.
~I also stretch out my arms and make circles, first big circles, then small ones, you can do this however long you wish.
~ marching in place. However long you can.
~ Side bends. Stand straight and bend to each side

I have been doing Wii lately... I can do it with my son or hubby--- they motivate me. I want to start walking again once the weather warms up.

Awhile back my daughter & I were jump roping in the house. It is a work out for the lungs.

Obviously you need the room, but you can pick a jump rope you can get at the dollar store & do it while watching tv even if during commercials. Go a bit faster with each commercial to challenge yourself, but you have a break when the show is on.
