I've had mine go up 5 percent or so. Can't totally attribute to exercise alone but exercise is a big factor.

I believe exercise is just as important as treatment in keeping lung functions up, and attribute my being as healthy as I am at 34 to being as active as i can.

Yep, walking on the treadmill has helped my lung function go up a small amount also ( any amount up, no matter how small is good). It also has given me a bit more stamina, which we all could use.

i think it is proven to help.

look at lance armstrong. highest lung capacity of any human on earth. granted, he probably started off pretty high but it's as high as it is because of his exercise.

measure it a few years after he retired and it will be lower. guarenteed.

exericse forces the lungs to be more effective and efficient
