Karen,

I know exactly what you mean about getting sidetracked for different medical reasons, it can become overwhelming I us a pill container now, so i dont skip as many pills as i used to .. Since i fill it once a week i know when my pills are running low..

I also keep a sheet of paper w/ the names and times to take them, then i check it off as i go along.. this is for meds i dont usually take.. I can keep them spaced better that way , and dont miss doses ..

It is a such a pain in the A$$ for sure .

My new little system isnt perfect but better than what i was doing before

But like you said gotta do it .. At least i think you said that lol

Take care & God Bless .. joni

OK......I had to update this thread and let you all know how much of an idiot I am. After all that frustration and worry about running out of enzymes, I discovered I made a BIG mistake. The same thing happened with my albuterol last week. I suddenly ran out of it and needed a prescription right away. I am usually pretty good about knowing when I need a refill and getting it before it becomes a problem. So I was confused by my lack of being responsible.

So I remembered and realized today that I had moved a big bag of my meds to a cooler room in my house a few weeks ago. I bagged it up and moved it in a hurry because we were leaving. The house was above 90 degrees on the upper level.....so I moved my albuterol and enzymes to my dining room and forgot I had done that. So when I went to get them....the shelf where they usually are was empty. It was a big wake up call for me that I need to be more organized with my meds and not have them in 3 or 4 different places around the house.

On another note, that mistake was one of "the best" mistakes I have ever made. Not having albuterol forced me to go back to my xoponex for a few days and double up on the dose. That forumula CURED my shortness of breath with the Colistin and I would have NEVER discovered that if I had continued on the albuterol. I would never have thought xoponex in a higher dose would have helped me that much!!!
