Fee for service?

It is unfortunate that the people that directly benefit from the service you provide are not inclined to help keep you going. Your costs seem fairly low and it surprises me that funding is such an issue. I don't think a fee is unreasonable...I wouldn't even stipulate that the case had to be won unless a win would constitute a suggested larger subsequent donation. It takes as much time and resources to lose as it does to win.

I gathered my own records, filled out the application online and was awarded the benefit with no appeals necessary. But, it was a lot of work. I mean a real pain in the neck--time consuming and very stressful. Sort of like reinventing the wheel. I definitely would have paid $100 to have an expert do it for me.
