I felt movement at 20 weeks with my first one. This one, I felt one episode of fluttering at 17 weeks and then nothing again for another week.

I was 17 weks with my first and 16 with my second - but with both it was barely noticable and easily could have been missed. It was about 20 weeks that I really could tell it was the baby and not just that "was that the baby or gas?" feeling. I think in first pregnancies they say it can be normal not to feel anything all the way up to almost 24 weeks! But if you get worried go in and have them listen to the heartbeat for you - that's alwasy reassuring!

Everyone (doctors, family, friends, co workers) asked me for the longest time if I felt movement. I told them that I frankly didnt know the difference between the baby & an upcoming fart until I was around 20 weeks. To this day I still couldnt tell you. It became more obvious as my daughter grew and ran out of room in there! LOL....
