Fetal Movement

Everyone (doctors, family, friends, co workers) asked me for the longest time if I felt movement. I told them that I frankly didnt know the difference between the baby & an upcoming fart until I was around 20 weeks. To this day I still couldnt tell you. It became more obvious as my daughter grew and ran out of room in there! LOL....

When I was pregnant with my son, I thought maybe I felt something at 17 weeks, but at 19 it was consistant! Even then sometimes I thought I would feel something, then it was lots of gas!! Like a huge nerd, I kept a day-to-day journal thoughout the pregnancy, I am also a nurse in a high risk birth center, so if you have any questions please ask!! Feel free to PM me. I am new here and so excited to find people with CF. Now I know I'm not alone. I'm even more excited to hear of more Cfers having babies.

I've only gone through one pregnancy (with twins). I remember sporadic movements by 18 weeks, and many more kicks (even my husband felt them for the first time!) by 20 weeks. The best way to describe kicks (as far as I can remember!) is a muscle spasm. It's weird because you can feel it from the inside but you can't control it. Conrats on the pregnancy! Good luck.
