FEV1: 60%
sats: 96-97% with rest
HR: 95-110 resting
sats with exercise: 83%
Does anyone know WHY O2 sats drop during exercise? Like for some people in my FEV1 category, it looks like they tolerate exercise... Why wouldn't I? Does it have nothing to do with FEV1? Does it have to do with my asthma component and tightening of my broncial tubes?
Just curious. Don't mean to hyjak this post. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
Oh, and yeah, most clinics don't check for this unless there is a problem. I had to ask my clinic to check me a year ago cause my HR went up so high with exercise so they had to "prove" with the 84% O2 to my insurance that I needed to monitor it with a pulse ox at home.
