Bobbi, I'm surprised they gave her antibiotics. It's a virus, it kind of just has to run it's course.

now that you say that i went back to make sure because i keep a log of every time she takes oral abx & why to make sure & they did give abx...she also had a very bad snotty nose....we went to the ped not the cf clinic...do they not normally get abx?
i have noticed that my ped constantly give her abx every time we walk in the door--does anyone elses ped do this? theres another dr in my peds office that we don't normally see but one time we went to her & she told me that because my dd had cf that she should be on abx every day....needless to say we didn't see her that day but still.
i had never even heard of "fifths" until holly had it.

I know when I've had a couple viruses that were known to be nasty, I was given antibiotics in hopes that it would help fight off secondary infections.
