Okay anon at 8:56, look at the title of the post and don't read it if it offends you that it is here and not on a blog!

Julie - I personally don't care whether you post it here or in your blog - I'm just glad to hear an update. I'm pretty new and I was around when you were still expecting; I can't believe you are already back at work.

I hope it all works out for you; an earlier poster was right about hormones and emotions all over the place. I cried and cried the first time I left my first-born with a babysitter. But I didn't have a hostile work environment, though. SURELY things will get better for you - hang in there!

Well, that sucks. It's hard enough to go back but then to have to go back to a "hostile" environment makes it even worse. Hopefully, after a few days everything will settle down and go back to "normal".

How did Mark do at home without you?

thats right and alot of us think you should sit on your thumb and rotate.

Sorry Julie for all the stress. You are such a strong mama! How much longer do you have in the military? You should start a count down. I never understood all the military "rules" all my friends have been able to get out for some health issue. You could claim post pardem depression... just a thought. But hold your head up high your doing more then most moms will ever have to deal with.

anon this is cf related. many people will seek fertility help within the cf community for the following reasons;

1) husband has cf and therefore can't conceive naturally (this is Julie's situation)
2) to remove the chance of a cf baby if both parents are carriers
3) to hurry along the process since our lives are in fast forward / countdown mode - sometimes there's just not time to wait years to get pregnant.
4) thick cervical mucus (relates to #3)

Julie,
Sorry to hear about your struggles. Chug along and do what you've got to do. Don't try to fix everything the first week. It's too stressful on you and you might find that they will be more understanding if you dole out your requests a little by little.
