Hey....i forgot my doctors name...hahahah...I go to st Mikes...they are really good there...I like them a lot already.

I inhale the oregano oil via my nebulizer...like 5-6 drops...and then i drink it twice daily...about half of the plunger thing full...so maybe 5-10 drops? I also started eating two cloves of garlic a day, and i love the taste hehe, so that's no problem.

I ran out of my supply...and within two days I didn't feel myself...sluggish...just blah. Won't be doing that again <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">

Ender/Kiel: What was your Oxygen level before the oil do you remember? I've been doing the OO for about a month now and I think my oxygen level is up (it was low low, like 77) I just wondered if it had improved your level?

Sean,

I bought the oregano oil tonight... going to start nebbing it as soon as it gets here.

I host several websites on my server, I purchased "herbsforCF.com" tonight and I would really like to put up all the info you've gathered...links for people to do their own reserach with etc. Can you please email me ( nliran@gmail.com ) so we can put the site together. I can do all the graphical and coding work, just need your knowledge!. It will probably save you time from typing everything 200 times to all of us who keep asking the same questions :p

Keil, this is awesome news!!! Hopefully my numbers jump up just as much as yours and seans next time I go in for a visit!

You get benefit any way that you use the oil, but I personally feel we get the most benefit from inhaling it either via neb or steam. Most of our problems/microbes are in our lungs, and while taking the pills that go to our GI tract does have some of the terpenes go to our lungs, the biggest direct impact is from inhaling the OO directly to our lungs, in my opinion. I did the pills and drops under the tongue before I started nebbing the oil, and there was a stark difference between how I felt just taking pills and drops as compared to inhaling the oil. Of course this might not be the same for anyone else, and they could be just as good with just the pills. But if you take just the pills for a month and don't see much if any improvement, that is probably why.

Hi,

I ordered Oregano capsules from www.worldwideshoppingmall.com which is also in the UK. I don´t think there is much difference in the capsules, but they are much cheaper!

You should be taking a vitamin K supplement anyways, because that vitamin helps you to clot, so even if you do have a lung bleed, it massively cuts it's severity and duration if you have an added clotting agent. Look at it this way: Oregano oil kills off massive amounts of your lung bugs, AND adds a strong antiinflamatory property. If your lung bugs are way low, and you have a natural antiinflamatory agent in your lungs, even though it thins your blood, it's much less likely that you will have a lung bleed, and even stronger with a vitamin K supplement added to the mix. CF lungs with massive levels of bacteria/microbes will have occasional hemoptysis. CF lungs with a massively lower bug population + antiinflamatory properties = much overall better health and quality of life, but with some blood thining (equivalent to aspirin). Add a vitamin K supplement to help counter the blood thining, and that symptom is lessened, so you get the benefit with little to none of the side effect of thinning.
