Flu shot... Do you get one?

I do not get the flu shot. It irritates my CF doctor but it is my decision. I have only had the flu once in my life.

I got my shot last year around oct, and then wound up with the flu in late dec, lololol. Normally I never get the shot and never get the flu too, so this year im just avoiding it.

Ever since I hade my TX I've had a flu shot every year & so has my wife.
Niether have had any problems other than a sore arm.

Yes. The two years I didn't get it I caught the flu. And the years that the flu shot didn't cover the strain that ended up hitting our area, I caught the flu. So, for me, not getting the shot is a guarantee I'll catch the flu. And getting the flu sucks! I usually get a sore arm and feel run-down the evening I get my shot, and sometimes I get a mild fever, but that's it for side effects, and it's much better than catching the flu.

I had influenza once, worst thing I ever had. My body hurt so much my hair hurt. I would take unmedicated childbirth over influenza any day. I get the flu shot.
