WE got ours in October (ry's doctor made it possible for Ry, Ahava and I all to get one, for Ry's protection). No sense in waiting. Like Amy said, you can always get another one.

Zoe's ped. called Thursday...said we just got the vaccine in today...can you bring her in tomorrrow? We went the next day, I'm with everyone else, why wait? All of her siblings are on the list for the next calls, they actually have lists here in Fl., first the chronic ill babies under 2, then the sibs of the chronic ill babes & other older chronic ill kids, then everyone else. They do it in that order in case of a shortage. My husband and I go to the local pharmacy or grocery store to have ours. We never have done the flu shots until this past year when Zoe was diagnosed with CF. Very important now.

Take care,
Jada

I would get it now. I always get mine as soon as possible. No one else around me will get the flu shot because they've been convinced by their friends it gives'em the virus. So obviously I have to stay ahead of their lack of knowledge & common sense. I hate stupidity<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

My problem is every fall-I get a cold or virus in october (which I currently have), and I have to wait till its over to get the flu shot.
So, usually I get it in the end of October. But when I was school age, my mom got it earlier for me.

We usually get our in October or November. Last year, DS was supposed to be on the top of the list at our local clinic, but the nurse at his clinic indicated otherwise, then I was told they ran out of vaccine. Fortunately, they had some at the CF clinic in the City. I was a little PEEVED last June when I took him in for his 3 year well child visit and was told by his doctor there must've been a miscommunication 'cuz they had vaccine left over thru May. Grrrr!

Again waiting for a call back from the clinic -- was told they'd call me back last week....
