Flying with meds and nebs

Medical stuff is exempt from most of the carry on regulations. You can bring on as big a bag as you need, and the liquid rules don't apply. Make sure it'll fit in an overhead bin though. Some airlines will put it in the closet/storage space, but don't count on it.
I have a rollie that fits all my med stuff, and then I have another bag for normal stuff.

Yes, most all airlines will not count your medical neccesaties as additional. Watch out for US Airways though. I don't know if it was the attendent or what, but she made me check my carry-on luggage because she counted the medication bag as my carry-on plus my purse as my personal bag. I was ticked but in no mood to argue as I had already spent a good deal of time argueing with the attendent earlier about our delayed flight and having to change flights and our paid for upgrade not being able to be honored throughout the entire new flight. UGH! Anyhow, luckily when we got to our connecting airport and I received my carry-on I simply stuffed my purse into my bag and voila, only had two carry-ons again. I will not fly US Airways again. There was no way I would ever allow meds to be checked.

This was the first time I"ve ever had trouble though. Southwest was no problem, Continental (although I've had other trouble with them) was no problem, and American has never been a problem, Oh and way back America West was no prob. either.

Robert321 had a good point though. And as important as being germ free as possible is for us now, I didn't think of it. Asking them to change their gloves. Wish I had thought of that. What was I NOT thinking!!! I'll remember for January that's for sure.
