Forgetting Enzymes

I'll be honest here. In the past my episodes of "forgetting" were in fact, deliberate. In my experience "forgetting" was a passive-aggressive attempt on my part to push CF into the background. I've learned that it's less embarrassing to explain about the pills than it is to explain why I had to flush twice and spray half a can of air freshener in the bathroom.

These days I don't forget. Like Mel there are times when I don't have them with me but that rarely happens.

Oh yes, you are not alone! In fact I forgot mine last night. Of all times, I was an hour away from home visiting my Grandmother. We went out to an italian restaurant and had pizza, french fries, mozzarella sticks and garlic bread w/ cheese. As I go to routinely take my enzymes, I realize oh no, I didn't have them on me! After 28 years I was so mad at myself b/c I too, knew what was coming.

And yes of all the nights, it had to be when I'm eating the grossest, greasiest, yet most delicious food I knew I was going to pay for it. It definitely sucks the life out of you after a night like that with running to the bathroom etc. So unfortunately it does happen, and yes it's exhausting.

You're right where else could you talk about this lovely digestion stuff!

Been there, done that this week!! I am so thankful I am at home and can hide in the bathroom.

I agree... I need one of those pill bottoms that tells me the last time I opened it--especially enzymes.

yesss, my problem is that I always forget to bring enzymes with me! I keep them in a film container (I know no one uses film anymore but its a super pill holder!). When I run out I always forget to refill it. Although I have a bottle in my car, when I'm in school it's not easy to go get them. This morning I had run out and we had breakfast in school, I had 3 peices of bacon and I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Needless to say I HATE the bathroom experience after the normal stuff has moved out of the way =( When I do forget I just load up with 4 enzymes once I do remember, hoping it will compesate... it usually does
