Fundraiser Frustration

Once again we have an opportunity to raise money for the CFF and once again nobody else is stepping up to the plate to help out.

I get so tired of people showing up to meetings and are all gung ho about the walk and other activities and then -- they practically disappear. Last summer there were two events we had to scrap and a fear this is going in the same direction.

This time we need to have a certain number of volunteers for about 2-3 hours. Oh, and families of people wcf need to try to sell tickets or at least get people to show up to eat. That's it. Food and cooking is provided.

I put out a call for help last night, the rep from the CFF sent out emails this morning and so far I got one response and that was from DH's cousin.

That sucks. You can't make people volunteer, and I agree it is incredibly frustrating. I hope you don't get discouraged, though, it is so important to fundraise.
