She gets it 24/7. She has a backpack but it weighs almost as much as her. We have the smallest pump, but you have to put ice packs in with the milk.The shortest tubes are 12in, plus the tube going to the bag.All together it is about 3ft

What type of g-tube does your daughter have?
My son started out with a Bard and we were able to cut down a feeding tube for meds.
He now has a MIC-KEY and that is not an option, at least not with out some extensive tube surgery. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

lily also has the mic-key. she is getting to where she likes to walk around but she steps on the tube alot.

Have you looked at a smaller pump/backpack? I have a new one(I think it's a zevex?) and it's tiny.
Also, can you only put in a little milk at a time while she's walking around? If you only put in half an hours worth it'll be less heavy.
What about taping it to her clothes so it stays off the ground?
