Gas prices--I hate IKE!!!

the whole load of bs saying gas prices have anything to do with the upcoming election is just that, bs, those two senators have very little impact on the price of anything, much less oil drilled and shipped from a middle east country. its down because of the economy and the sudden lack of demand because everyone is staying home more and the people are selling the oil for whatever they can get for it, that and a sudden unexplained increase in domestic production. but don't tell me that a senator is lowering the gas price because all of a sudden he has motivation and means and then doesn't take credit for it? something here doesn't make sense.

Reg Gas today was 2.60 a Gal.

Do I hear .99 a Gal..

When I started driving in 1972 Reg Gas was .32 a gal..Ahhh the good ol days...
So that was double what it was in 1942, it took 30 years to dble.

Look what gas prices from 72 to 2008 ,so in 36 years it went from .32 to 3.50 more
than TEN times the cost.
