As far as sterilizing the other neb parts...does leaving the neb parts in alcohol for 10 minutes after washing kill the germs as effectively as boiling does for 5 minutes?

</end quote></div>

Absolutely

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote> And one more thing...what happens if you leave the neb pieces in longer than 10 minutes say an hour or two or more? Does that hurt the nebs?

</end quote></div>

Not sure. I wouldn't chance it...

And yes, it's hard to balance the head in alcohol on and off a plane... but many things in life are hard. Like doing meds twice a day for over an hour. That's hard. But we do it anyway.

Same thing with traveling with the eFlow.. it's hard but if it's important to you like doing meds on a daily basis is important to you, you'll find a way.

Just curious how often you have to change the batteries in the E-Flow? Does your insruance cover the batteries or do they send you batteries with the E-Flow?

95% of the time i used mine plugged in. i'm at my house.

when i travel overseas (the only time i've needed to use with a battery) it's lasted about 5 days (3 different meds, twice a day).

no insurance doesn't cover batteries. they're not that expensive.... i buy bulk at CostCo

Thanks Amy for the education. This info now makes using the eflow for travel doable for me.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I do agree that the eflow is excellent with delivering meds and is worth the effort. As always I appreciate you taking the time to answer.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Does anyone use the Omron portable neb? My husband just fried his 2nd car lighter attachment (he does all his treatments during his commute). It was a pain and expensive to get the last replacement. Is it worth sticking with Omron or should we just switch to Pari Trek? Are there other options?
