Thanks to all that replied to my posting! I will consider all of these things. I will be a stay at home mother if and when i do beome a mother. So hopefully as you said that does help out alot. my family and i all live withing 10-30 min apart and they are all willing to help out alot, im just not sure of how much. so hopefully these factors will play in for the more positive result. who knows, i guess the bottom line is that God has his plans made out best for me and i will continue to pray to do his will for my life, and i will pray for contentment if his will is for me to not get or be pregnant. God Bless!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

By the way i will pray that your pfts are better than ever, and if they are not it is ok they will come back up. It is probably this time of year. huh? It is one of the worst times for me. Do you stay healthier having your daughter home with you, even though i would assume that would cause you to be less energy efficient, i am sure you dont pick up nearly the bugs and colds that goes aroud in schools?

I can't answer anything specific to your situation because it is quite different than mine (health wise). But have a good talk with your CF docs and ask them (or your OBGYN) to refer you to a pernatologist for a consult. Do that sooner rather than later. When I got my referral for a consult they scheduled it 4-5 months away. By the time the appointment rolled around I was already pregnant. You probably won't need to be followed by a peri but its nice to have an expert answer any questions you might have specific to your situation.

I am a SAHM with my son (well I was in grad school for the first 2.5 years of his life but that was only a few hours a week). My parents live around the corner and my inlaws live 15 minutes away. They helped as much as they could. My mom took 2 weeks off of work when Logan was a newborn so she could help out - she came over every day to cook/clean etc. My MIL used to come over 2 mornings a week to watch/play with DS. (She got extremely sick this past summer and is just now feeling better so that routine stopped a while ago). My mom retired last month from her full time job so now she's over several mornings a week (she teaches in the PMs) to do whatever needs to be done - play with DS, clean, etc. It has helped so much since I'm pregnant and my energy isn't what it used to be.

I think my family support is what has gotten me through these past 3 years without any major illnesses. Its easy to think you can do it all yourself but in the end, you health is what suffers. I had to accept the help and I'm truly grateful for all of it. And my son benefits the most - he has a great relationship with both sets of grandparents and a mom who isn't exhausted all the time.
