GHPP

That reminds me, Karismom had Kari move here, (to the city I live in to be exact) and live with her dad so she could be on GHPP. Karismom herself lives in Reno, which is only a few hours from here, but it's Nevada, so no GHPP there. At least, that's what I remember - I could be mistaken.

GHPP has been fine for me for over 25 years. I too have never had anything denied, everything just takes forever for authorizations.

My only fear is when Arnold wields his "program cutting" pencil. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

Jodi, you make a very good point. When Arnold first took over after the ousting of Gray Davis, one of the first things he did was restrict access to the GHPP program - if you were already on it, you still received all the same services, but he put a freeze on allowing any new enrollees. Most of us already on GHPP didn't know about any of this - we just reapply every year, get approved, and go on with our lives. But those trying to get approved for the first time were SOL.

That freeze has been lifted, but who knows how long it will stay that way. And with our budget "crisis" this year, it wouldn't surprise me if similar restrictions are entertained yet again.

I'm sorry, I can't find the paperwork I was looking for. I must have thrown it out <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">
If I do find it, I'll let you know.

Any one re-applying that can repost what the paperwork says about what they cover, for Salty?
