Hi everyone.
Well, I figure I"m due for a cleanout (slight fever, SOB, coughing up tons, tired all the time, etc.) and have scheduled a trip to Salt Lake this week to be admitted Weds. for IV meds. I'm praying they'll let me do the last part of the IVs at home so I don't miss turkey day (and cause I'm terrified of hospitals and germs...) So, I will for sure be in from Weds. until the following Weds. as they require at least a 7 day stay before taking meds home.
I'm really really nervous since I've never had a picc at THIS place nor have I been admitted since high school (I always did home health from day 1). So, please send me all the positive thoughts you can. <img src="">
And, if anyone has a link to that list of stuff people bring to the hospital, please let me know. I am going to pack and drive half of the way tonight, and am feeling really overwhelmed right now and can't think straight. What do you bring to make it feel "like home"?
Thanks everyone,
