yes, it is very hands on-- the percussor. You can got in circles or up and down in each quadrant. When my arms get tired, I get my son or my hubby to help. I read while I do my treatment-- hold the book with one hand or my leg and I read on the internet. No watching tv though-- just too loud.

I find it feels great on sore muscles as well as knock junk loose. I don't have a fancy vest. I use my percussor and my flutter and between the two of them my lungs are doing great.

Heh, that's such a great feeling, I'm glad your numbers are so high.

I remember once I had this AMAZING pft after a month of IVs, I was maybe 17 or so. My doctor just said "wow" and "I'll be right back, I have to show you something" and he left and came back with a piece of paper. It was HIS PFT and mine was better than it!!

Keep it up, keep coming here, we'll keep you compliant.

I think the reason that people as a whole are "tough sells" is because all the indoctrination on how you need prescription medicine to remain healthy, and the discrediting of natural remedies. You cannot patent a natural remedy, so the FDA doesn't stand to make any money. With that being said, I definitely think drugs have a place in society. For instance, at the time last year when I had bad inflammation, no amount of natural therapies could help, only man-made drugs could solvent the problem. I think in order for natural remedies to be beneficial, you must start out with a clean slate first. I began my collision course with natural remedies the day I left the hospital; thus I was already in tip-top shape. I would have been a tough sell even a year ago, but I have witnessed first hand the power of alternative medicine.
</end quote>

Shane, I too have seen phenomenal progress in my own daughter. I completely agree with everything you wrote here. FDA can't patent naturally occuring elements of the earth. Whaaat? You mean there is something in this world our gov't cannot exploit and make proift from (yet)??? Let me stop before I go on a rampage about my political beliefs.

Just wanted to add that I was glad to see another CF'er doing well on holistic treatment as well as western medicine. I just wish our docs were more open to it. If it is not FDA approved they are sketchy. Im like huuuullooooo McFly, the FDA approved cloned meat SAFE!!!!!

Hey Shane - I couldn't locate your product that you linked to above. Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but What kind of herbel remedies are you using? I'm obsessed with them lately and always wanting to learn more! Thanks!
