Hey friend,
I went through something so similar back in May. I felt AWESOME on my birthday (April 28) and I thought I was doing fine. I went to the doctor for a regular clinic visit and my PFTs had tanked again. Like you described, my doc did an "interventional" IV course.
I've been fighting off the yucks for 9 months and bouncing back and forth with my PFTs like you. My lowest was somewhere in the 40s (Yikes!). That last push in May FINALLY seemed to do the trick, and I've been declared "stable." My PFTs are back up to almost baseline 70s, like you.
Hang in there, my friend. I hope you'll rebound as remarkably as I have. Stay positive! I look forward to hearing your update when you can.
