I wouldn't think so. My pulmonary doctor likes me to try to take it as close to 12 hours as possible because he tells me it is one of the few antibiotics for which the tension actually matters.

My little girl only had to neb tobi once a day, for one month. She was 2, or maybe a little less than, at the time. That's been our only experience with it though.

My doctor mentioned taking Tobi once a day continuously, with no month-off break. He mentioned this as an option for me because I don't really tolerate any other inhaled meds other than Tobi and I also get sick if I have a month off. Although, I have never used Tobi like that, I think it is definitely an option.

No, but when he was youner, DS was prescribed half a vial, twice a day 28 days on, 28 days off due to inflammation issues -- sinuses/nasal passages really really got stuffed up.

I have profound hearing loss in my left ear from years of IV tobramycin. Despite some people telling me that it is still OK to use TOBI, other docs have said it will still continue to affect my hearing. They suggested that I stop TOBI or use it only once a day instead of twice. For now I have totally stopped but if I need it again will try just once a day.
