My husband has repeatedly battles planters worts, they are horrid little beasts and can be very painful.

He has had his cut frozen lazered--he had a grpu of 3. Now his are back and he is doing some home remedies which seem tobe working. My husband took 1 day off work so he had it done on a friday then hobbled a bit over wekeend but he also had 3 really bad ones so I dont know abotu regularly.

Duct tape does work well for regular warts (my ssiter had them horrible on her hands as a kid), dont know about planters warts.

I had a plantar's wart years ago...I think I was 18...anyway...They tried freezing it a few times but it didn't work so they went in and lasered it out...that hurt but only because the needle they used to numb my foot was so long. But they got it all out and I have never had another P.Wart again.

I was off of my feet for a few days...The day after I had the surgery I walked around ALOT and when I took my shoe off it was filled with blood...that kept me sofa ridden like I was supposed to be!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i had a planter's wart as a child. it was a huge pain in the butt to get rid of, but it wasn't too painful. i did see a podiatrist, but he had me putting that otc stuff on it after showering and then filing it down until one day...after long arduous hours of filing...it was gone!! i was glad i never had to get it frozen.

this was the days before i had CFRD. i think if the same thing happened now, the doctor would want to do something much more aggressive.

i have had this mark on my toe now for oh, about a year. i thought it might be a wart...i should probably have it looked at it now that i'm writing this! maybe i'll try some of y'alls home remedies first!

My sister had a TON of them on her feet when she was younger and my parents didn't want to have her go thru the pain of freezing or cutting them all out. A friend of the family who was into holistic health suggested making a paste out of castor oil and baking soda, applying to the warts with gauze, bandaid.. Every night she'd do this and the warts wore away. Don't know if it was the grit from the soda, healing properties from the castor oil, but it was painfree.

I had one cut out as a teen and several frozen in college. Wouldn't hurt to try the baking soda and castor oil paste.
