Keep in mind that this is why infection control is so important when you go to CF clinic.

You can pick up other CFer's PA, and other CFer's can have resistant PA.

So you yourself don't have to have been on a ton of antibiotics to have resistant PA. You can just pick up resistant PA from other CFer's if you or your clinic aren't practicing good infection control.

I doubt that antibiotic resistance rectifies itself very often but I have reason to believe that you can make choices which influence this.

There is a study showing that antibiotic resistance with PA can be reversed by reducing excess acidity. I know someone who has worked on that issue (and a few other things) and went from PA being sensitive to 7 antibiotics to PA being sensitive to 15 antibiotics in about 3 months time.
