i was doing a search trying to find a site with a lot of good tips on dealing with health insurance and came upon this site: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://cappskids.org/TipsForDealingWithInsurance.htm">http://cappskids.org/TipsForDealingWithInsurance.htm</a>
My question is about the first tip: <div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>In every state there is an agency in charge of monitoring insurance companies to make certain that the insurance companies follow proper procedures and the law.</end quote></div>
I've never even heard of this before. Has anyone ever dealt with such an angency, and did it help at all?
<b>edit</b> If ound the one for Colorado. Just do a search for "Insurance commissioner" and it should turn something up. I know state agencies aren't always the most efficient or reliable, but I guess it's worth a try if nothing else seems to be working.
