Hi Anna

Apart from the other good suggestions, when my son started doing his insulin shots himself, someone gave him the hint to give the spot 'a little scratch' then give the injection..that worked for him...he also used the pen, which isnt so much like using a syringe <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Now he has a pump, which is fantastic and he loves it. It's probably only good if you're using insulin a lot though <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
