Note I'm only like this in the winter, in the summer, for the most part I'm quiet. I spoke to my doc about this and he said it's just the changing of the seasons; I think it's a bit more then that.

Hi Solo: I experience much the same thing .It drives me crazy , I have figured out through the process of illimination that not being able to open the doors and windows to get good air exchange can cause stale air and more dust from the heat. I run a humidifier to help moisten the air and an air clieaner to help keep the dust mites and other allergens down. It seems to work really well. Lots of water this time of year to cause the humidity is way down when it is cold and it dries mucous secretions up except maybe the ones that ran down the throat from the sinuse during the night.
If you want you can check out these machined that I use on the site called national allergy.come. If you have animals sleeping with you in the house allergies are sometimes worse this time of year. There is a lotin made wih Aloe to put on the cat called Allerpet. That is great, and they love it, No odor, and it makes the coat shiny. That will cut down on animal dander.
I personally don't have pets , I just cant with these lungs but I have put the stuff on stray cats and they have told me they love it. hee hee.

I got an air cleaner and my PFTs went back up and I felt so much better, I really recommend getting one. Mine is a 3' tall skinny model that just sits on the floor and runs 24/7. You can get them at target/walmart/any kind of store like that.
